Battery wall clocks don’t need a cable and don’t need to be electronically complex — a wall clock with a lens-sized dot somewhere on its face that isn’t part of the clock face design, or one that’s mounted a little lower or more centrally than a clock normally would be (people hang clocks at reading height, not aimed height), is worth a look.
