The statute
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-311.08 (Unlawful Intrusion; Photograph, Film, or Record Intimate Area; Distribute)
What it prohibits
Nebraska bans knowingly intruding on another’s solitude or seclusion without consent; knowingly photographing, filming, or recording another’s intimate area without knowledge or consent when it would not be generally visible to the public, in a public or private location; and distributing, or threatening to distribute, images obtained this way.
Penalty
Intrusion: Class I misdemeanor first offense, Class IV felony on a subsequent offense. Recording an intimate area: Class IV felony. Distribution: Class IIA felony (first/second), Class II felony (third or later).
