The statute
ORS § 163.700 (Invasion of Personal Privacy in the Second Degree)
What it prohibits
Oregon bans being positioned to observe another person’s nudity, for sexual gratification, without consent, where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy — a bathroom, dressing room, locker room, tanning booth, or similar enclosed space; and knowingly recording another’s intimate area without consent under the same expectation of privacy.
Penalty
Class A misdemeanor. (A related statute, ORS § 163.701, covers aggravated or repeat conduct as a felony — that is not the base offense described here.)
