A streaming stick, a soundbar, and a cable box are all normal and all have small blinking lights, so this category has more false positives than most.

The tell that actually matters

The specific shape to watch for is a small object velcroed or taped to the top of the TV, rather than a device that plugs into an HDMI port on the back or side. A legitimate streaming stick lives in a port; an add-on stuck to the bezel with a view of the room does not belong there.
